That took a while, but now don't I just feel so validated. Haha.
YUKI:
An interesting development was recently made in the multiversal concept.

A group from this universe has been performing spiritual research into the same feild as me. Many of their views lack support from evidence or conjecture, but it is of note that many of their teachings are similar to my theories. The remainder of their teachings are worthy of investigation.

People kill each other for the worst possible reasons.

You would think they could at least use the good reasons.

Unforgettable moments

They were on the roof of her school. The sun was setting, the lights of the town were soon to replace the bright brilliance of day with the sparkling tranquility of night. Sparkles in the sky, sparkles on the ground. An image of harmony, consensus between the heavens and the Earth. But until then, the sun cast an orange light and long shadows. An explosion of the most potent colors sprayed over the hills, the town, the school, and the boy and the girl on the roof.

"I didn't mean to do this," he explained to her. "The last two days didn't go as they were supposed to. I need to do it again."

She didn't truly grasp what he meant. But she didn't ask. She was always so quiet, ready to listen, anxious to learn about what he had to say. But he was about to take it all back. Had she done something wrong?

"No." He grimaced. He hadn't meant to be listening. He put his hands on her shoulders. It was the first time he had ever touched her. "The mistakes were all mine. I'm just going to go back and do these days properly. I think things will be really screwed up if we don't do that."

Maybe she still didn't understand. She was overwhelmed. But really, that was the whole problem from the beginning. He had told her everything too fast, it could have driven her mad or reduced her appreciation. She stepped back from his hands, continued to walk backwards. She would have to trust him. A tear seeped from her eye. She watched him get farther away.

Now she was standing against the setting sun, crying over that which she could not comprehend. "Just remember to come back for me," she whispered. And time went reeling backwards. Of course he couldn't forget. The sight of her against the sunset was unforgettable. Even so, it was forgetten by the only person he could share it with.

That night would just have to wait for another few days.

Josh went out into the multiverse to meet someone new last night. She might eventually end up posting here, but he's introducing himself in a different way this time. It's the kind of thing Yuki's good at talking about, not me, but basically this time he's not just pulling her into this universe. He's talking to her in hers and slowly revealing reality. She's the kind of girl who'd like to hear that that kind of escape is possible. I suppose this is a more enlightened way to do it.

I've been keeping an eye on Josh his whole life, just because he seemed like he'd go to interesting places emotionally and it's my job to probe people in the direction of goodness. That got a lot stranger when he became aware of my presense. Few of us ever have to work with that situation. And thus, few of us get the chance to directly comminicate with the Earth's masses. Though I don't suppose any of you are really believing what you're reading. Heh. It's understandable. You'll all see eventually anyway.

And it was true. Josh went to interesting places. It's not like it was a lucky guess, of course, we get to know things, but I couldn't have guessed he'd end up where he is now. It's a funny thing, it's like his dreams are being fulfilled, but he can only half-way tell that they are.

Sex is disgusting.

Why can't you express your affection in a less self-pleasuring way?

Alright. Blog posting. Not something I'm awesome at. Unfortunate, because I'm awesome at a lot of things. Let's see. Last weekend! It was a good weekend. Went to a rock festival. The USA version of Download Festival, to be exact. Bangin' good times. Here's why:

The Lineup That We Saw Bits Of™:

Rougewave
TV on the Radio
The Shins
Coheed and Cambria
Muse
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Beck

All that was the main stage, save for Coheed, which we left the main stage to see because The Shins were not very radical. (Rougewave wasn't too good either, by the way.) The first part of the day was all quite fun. Eating overpriced food, chillin' with my dawgs, and with Josh, and observing him chill with his dawgs. TV on the Radio and Coheed were also very nice acts.

Of course, as you may have assumed from earlier posts by (my lovely cohort) Sue (if you are an avid and eagle-eyed reader), the main reason we were at this gig was to see Muse. It's all about Muse. No one rocks harder. That is to say, don't no one rock harder. Than Muse. And no one did. You can find some limited footage of this on youtube (search for "Muse Download") if you want a demonstration of how hard they rocked. It was quite hard rocking, I might say. I might also say that it was one of the better experiences in my life. But wouldn't that be an exaggeration? Oops, no. It wouldn't. Let's say: they played all their best music, played it well, and the crowd was as excited and exciting as an explosion. With lots of cars getting thrown around. In slow motion.

After that, we were all somewhat blown away. And our ears may not have been working as well as they previously were. But from what we could discern, the Yeahs played good music but were a bit distractingly fucked up. Their lead singer is an ugly whore. Seriously. Listen to their studio music, never see them live.

Beck was a good headliner. His music couldn't compete with Muse, but he put on a great show. Through his entire performance there was a smaller stage, with a puppet version of the band. With their own lights and their own screen in the back, and their own prop depicting a smaller puppet show. Quite amazing. At one point the band played very extensive percussion and other such things entirely on a dinner table with dinner impliments, on stage. Including backup "vocals" done by rubbing fingers over wine glasses. Very slick.

There was also a bunch of humor sketches played out by the puppets on the main screen, featuring SNAKES ON A BUS and puppet Beck praying to the Raiders' logo: "Please lord Raider, give me the power to rock harder than muse." Hah. Access denied.

They closed out the night with E-pro. It was a good move.

ALSO OF NOTE: Having switched to the beta version of blogger, we're going to go back and categorize all the posts by author. In case any of you want that. None of you do. So expect it to be finished eventually.

Sorry 'bout that

Been distracted by nothing in particular at all. Guess I just wasn't in the outspoken mood last week! Getting back into it. Currently, Tuffie is concocting an entry on what we did last weekend. The Dara entry I mentioned? Nevermind that!

Also, this site broke 1000 hits. Mostly me and Wotching, most likely. Still though!

So I've decided that the next bunch of posts, I will not write myself. Not enough of the gang in here lately. So, hopefully, this'll be the last you hear of me in a bit.
